Poly Announces Native Interoperability For GoToRoom by LogMeIn
Last week Polycom (now Poly) released the new Poly Video OS 3.1 software which included a full stack of exciting new features and integrations. None more exciting than the capability to run the GoToRoom app from LogMeIn natively on Poly’s OS. Previously LogMeIn had limited its GoToRoom hardware solutions to select PC bundles. Now GoToRoom users can enjoy the power of Poly’s enterprise grade conference room equipment with the same familiar interface they’re used to.
Poly Studio X For GoToRoom
What Are The Benefits of a Poly GoToRoom?
GoToRoom is LogMeIn’s enterprise grade software client, which is a step up from their standard GoToMeeting subscriptions. GoToRoom has deeper hardware integrations and features designed to outfit a professional meeting space like a conference room or training room. These rooms need greater audio and video coverage, as well as, advanced control systems in order to deliver consistently great meetings. A GoToRoom Poly system achieves just that. The Poly Studio X and G7500 series are designed for these types of professional environments. Packed with features and industry leading video conferencing technology, the Studio X and G7500 models have a system for any sized space. Studio X30 is designed for personal use or a huddle space while the X50 can cover up to a medium sized conference room. The G7500 has three different camera versions depending on the size of the room and also has the ability to add multiple table microphone arrays or ceiling microphones.
